Persecuted Christians in the Middle East

The events in Iraq where indigenous Assyrian Christians are being persecuted; murdered and driven from their homes have at last been discovered by the BBC and Press in the UK. Most of the reports I have heard seek to make one excuse after the next for the intolerance of Islam, but Ed West from the Telegraph seems to have hit the nail on the head. You can read it here.
